Congratulations Write Across Nebraska Participants!

Our word count during the 2103 event July 12-14, Nebraska writers tallied 205,254!

(If you participated in WAN and haven’t submitted your word count at the NWG site, don’t forget to do so—make every word count!)

Members and Non-Members joined to prove that authors still have it by overriding last year’s record word count online and during group events like the one held in Stanton.

And, as posted by Nanette Day on the Write Across Nebraska Face Book Page:

….The WAN Reading Party we had in Stanton — what fun! We had an eclectic group of writers (who managed to find connecting threads despite our diversity) who shared poems/stories about forgotten baby shoes, snaking towns, the welcome of blooming lilies, headstrong characters, and city council meetings complete with chicken chucking. We had so much fun, we already decided to do it again next year!….
We encourage everyone, members and non-members alike, to share their WAN accomplishments and, if you’ve got a suggestion for next year’s event, post it on our WAN Face Book Page or use the contact form on our blog here!
